2021-12-25 Byskoven, Kalvebod Fælled, Amager, Denmark
A curious little fellow that would probably have been safe also in the days when they were killed to dress kings in sick extravaganza. Saying this because of the dirty look on the head and back. Not sure if it is still in transition, or if some animals simply don't shed the summer color completely.
It's not common on Amager, but you see it here and there. Perhaps doing better now that the larger mink is out of competition (being efficiently eradicated now, though I saw one this summer, but I'm not saying where).
