Azores, Canary Islands, N Africa, Europe, Turkey, Iran, N America to Guatemala; Haiti and New Zealand.
Habitat:
Behavior:
Migrant species, arriving from the south to breed (peak June/July) and new individuals return south (peak August). Late individuals might try to winter in our region and succeed if it's warm enough.
Status:
Annual fluctuation but rather common in Denmark and rest of Fennoscandinavia.
