Continental Europe north of the Alps. Also C France. Absent the British Isles. Also present Russia patchily through the temperate zone of the continent to C Asia. In Denmark widespread in Jylland, NE Sjælland and Bornholm. Localized Fyn, Lolland and Falster.

LC in Denmark. VU in Europe. LC globally (not updated). General decline in Europe perhaps also reflects the status in Denmark.
