The shape of the male abdomen which is normally characteristic among the emeralds is not easily recognized here, but the white belly patch of the female is diagnostic. Unusual for me to see this species away from water and actually sitting still long enough to take good photos. |

2022-06-18 Teglstrup Hegn (nordsjælland), Danmark Imago. Emerging. I think it is most likely this species, with many flying around. With lack of must experience with teneralas in general, I admit that it could be something else incl. yellow-spotted emerald, though I would have expected it to look more slender. |
