Green Kingfisher (Chloroceryle americana septentrionalis (isthmica)) Grøn Stødfisker ~ Martín Pescador Verde ~ Grön Kungsfiskare 2012-05-05 Estero Palo Verde (El Tortugario - col), Mexico
Female because of the dobbelt breast band and the long bill. Male has red on breast. The most common and small kingfisher in this area. I wonder if the brownish primaries is not an indication of a 2cy. |
