Ferruginous Hawk (Buteo regalis) monotypic Kongevåge ~ Aguililla Real 2010-11-17 Ojos Negros, Baja California (Bcn), Mexico 2cy+ birds. The reddish wing coverts indicate the age. Both young and older birds have white panels in the hand. |

Ferruginous Hawk (Buteo regalis) monotypic Kongevåge ~ Aguililla Real 2010-11-17 Ojos Negros, Baja California (Bcn), Mexico Adult with reddish wing coverts and dark well-defined trousers. Also the well marked trailing edge to the wing and the bi-toned tail with no markings are good indications of an adult bird. |
