Subspecies: palmarum Basic plumage.With a yellowish touch on posterior flank part. This could indicate an intermediate form. The eastern subspecies hypochrysea normally does not winter in Yucatán , and generally has a more yellowish basic plumage including a yellowish eyebrow. Yucatán 2013. |

Subspecies: palmarum (Western) Like 2542, a western Palm Warbler with yellowish vent, beige eyebrow and underside with weak streaking. A not so rare winter visitor. This one I found in a thorny scrub area (in process of constructional transformation) along a dirt road close to the beach. |

Subspecies: palmarum (Western) A lonely bird in the morning in the low vegetation close to the observation tower. Yellowish vent, beige lightly streaked breast and strong beige eyebrow indicate this species and subspecies. A regular rarity in the area. |
