Subspecies: occidentalis Adult. Highland forest species with the most characteristic voice in Mexico. Has a reputation for being difficult to see, but this not true here in the western Mexico, especially not in Colima where you see it almost as often as you hear it. Is seen down to 6-700 masl. |
