The diffuse grayish look, the tousled crest and the pink base of the mandible are characteristics of this specie. As it sits there in front of the nest, it is almost like if it is thinking: When does the stork arrive? Adult removing faeces while the youngs scream! I'm not sure if all of the dense material is part of the nest. If so, an impressive effort for such a small bird. Or perhaps it has overtaken the nest from another species. |

Gray, elongated and bushy with bright bill base. Rather common breeding species around Colima City. The sharp ti ti ti call is easily recoqnised. |
