2013-01-06 Volcán Nevado de Colima, Mexico Subspecies: borealis Adult male. The bright white elongated patch down the side of the head is diagnostic. Females show duller colors though and should be compared with other species when trying to id them. A rather common highland-species in Mexico. Best photos |
