Subspecies: ? Only little yellow in the head which could indicate area of origin. The amount of yellow in the head would be diagnostic in itself among Mexican parrots, but the red patch on the front of the wing supports the identification. Only Yellow-lored Parrot in Mexico shows the same feature. This bird is here accompanied by a Red-lored Parrot in photo 2, also of a likely escaped origin. Escapee |
