2013-06-02 Presa La Vega, west of Gdl, Jalisco (Jal), Mexico Adult female type. The adult male is at this time of year darker and usually with completely dark black belly and breast. An unusual summer observation. My guess: Probably a late bird going north since the spring migration follows a more western route than the autumn migration. |
