First calendar year. When seeing the bands on the right leg, I first thought it was a falconeer bird, but John Larsen has a photo (good one) on netfugl.dk of a young bird from Stevns, and it looks like it has been treated with the same type of banding, why I expect this bird to be a bird from there (just on the other side of Køge bay). It passed by quickly and continued in a northern direction. Banded |

First calendar year. In the dark weather today details were not easy to see compared to Merlins that also passed by. But still you get the feeling of a larger, stronger and more purposeful bird. And when zooming in, the broad mustache and the unicolored upperwing separate them. As well as the more obscured breast streaks on Peregrine compared to Merlin. |

Second calendar year. Sydmøllevej. Spreading fear and horror among the smaller birds, but the stilt was not affected. |

Hotel Scandinavia. A pair has been present this winter on the building, only this bird when I was there. Probably a male since others reported another larger bird sitting elsewhere on the letters before I came. I'm not sure about age, but it looks like there are some striped breast feathers why I would expect it to be at least a 3cy. |
