Probably juvenile based on the very pale and fluffy look. Very similar to female, though.
Roosting during migration.

A winter male with the reddish head, buffy-pink body and greenish cast to the edges of the remiges.
Enjoying the enormous amounts of food available this year, especially seeds of the beech, which is a favorite with this species.
Very common in Denmark.

First calendar year. At first it made a nervous and hasty visit, but later on it learned that this was a welcoming place where to have food and shelter. Also present the next day.
Maybe it is weak, having what looks like a fungus disease on the legs.
