Subspecies: palliata Adult. A very common species in the highland forest, but also very difficult to photograph. Unmistakable if the chest is seen well. |

Subspecies: palliata? Adult in breeding activity. This species is normally difficult to get a good photo of, because it stays at the upper levels, and also because it is on a constant move. This bird was occupied down low by collecting material why it allowed for at least a few sharp close-up shots. |

2019-05-04 Volcán Nevado de Colima, Mexico
Subspecies: palliata? Adult. Unmistakable when seen well, but often the red crescent can be difficult to see. The combination of the broad white eyebrow, and greenish-yellow, gray and white plumage makes it rather distinct. One of the most common resident warblers in the highland forests. A nice bird indeed. |
