Among the many thousand snow geese it is also possible to find Ross's Goose. It is characterized by a smaller size, a small triangular bill with blue tones, and no 'grinning patch'. Also, the line of the bill attachment in Ross is a vertical straight line, compared to Snow Goose which has a curved attachment line. I only noted a few birds in all, but it is most likely that the species is easy to overlook in the compact flocks of snow geese. In the picture you notice how differently the bills of the two birds appear. But rather than a real difference I think it is caused by the angle to the viewer, something always to have in mind when judging photos.

Without being able to remember it well, I judge that there are three birds in this photos.
