2014-10-02 Kalvebod Fælled, Denmark Subspecies: rossicus Probably adult because of the strong bill colors. Rossicus because of very small size, short neck, and dark bill with well-defined subterminal orange band. Bill at the long end for a rossicus, though still shorter than for a Taiga Bean-Goose. Obvious orange legs. A single bird with thousands of Barnacles. |

2016-09-24 Kalvebod Fælled, Denmark Subspecies: rossicus Photo 1 and 2 are from the 25. of September. Little, short thick neck and black bill with orange subterminal band is characteristic for rossicus. Like the last time, picture 1364, the bill is not particularly short, but probably would appear so if seen with a Taiga Bean-Goose. Again, only bird among thousands of Barnacles. |
