2016-10-23 Nordhavnstippen (Stubben), Denmark Subspecies: gibraltariensis Young males. The uniform gray look (from this angle) and the bright field on the inner remiges indicate age and sex. One of the them is the same as 2362. |

2016-10-23 Nordhavnstippen (Stubben), Denmark Subspecies: gibraltariensis Young male. Uniform gray breast and belly, and the characteristic white patch on the inner remiges. If the age is correctly assessed, it is funny to observe that the bill is all dark - compared with my comment to picture 2361. Perhaps an indication that 2361 is a female? |

2016-10-27 Rome, Italy Subspecies: gibraltariensis Forum Romano. Female type. Looks very bright - almost like a Common Redstart. But is caused by the light and the angle. The bright lower mandible makes me suspect that the bird is a first year individual. However, the literature cannot confirm this (the new Robins and Chats by Clement don't mention anything about the bill color on females or young birds!) Seen at the same spot as the male 2360. |

2022-04-17 Tømmerupvej (Tårnby), Denmark Adult. ♂. Ullerup. Traditional spot to get it: Kongelundens Rideklub, at the south end of the village. There is probably only one pair but this bird was singing along the road on the south side opposite to the large riding building, but 2 minutes later another, or the same, was singing from the roof top at the far end of the building, some 100 meters away. |

2023-10-16 Amager Strandpark, Denmark Adult. ♀. Kastrup Lystbådehavn A last minute species of the year. Admitting that I have focused little on the birds this year, but still it has been a surprise that I didn't manage to dump into a single bird on the island. |
