2023-11-02 Søerne (København), Denmark West side of Skt Jørgens Sø. Present 3 days now. Id positive by call. When I saw it, it foraged without interacting with other birds. Level 5 to 10 meters above the ground, in maples, and calling clearly with minutes intervals. Feet paler than legs. Second wing band diffuse, more like humei, but still too strong for that species. Pale bill with black tip to lower mandible, like Gray Flycatcher (Empidonax wrightii), and different from humei which normally shows all black bill. Rare |
