Subspecies: - Calling it a such bird, even though Black-throated is known to show white throat sometimes, but it remains unclear to me how this character really occurs and how it differs from birds of mixed origin, why I prefer to believe in the hybrid idea, also giving that we are in an area of transition, where both species occur. The tail seems short for a pure Black-throated and the black collar surrounding the white throat patch too broad to fit a pure White-throated. Hybrid |
