2019-06-07 Rancho Primavera (El Tuito - jal), Mexico Subspecies: ? Adult. Unmistakable with the blue around the eye and the white wing lining. Zenaida doves have a longer primary projection compared to Leptotila, eg. White-tipped Dove, being logical knowing that the Zenaida doves are open-land birds, flying longer distances often, whereas Leptotilas are forest dweller favoring a more discrete flight pattern. |
