The short thick bill excludes Western Sandpiper (Calidris mauri), but also the brown-striped crown, the brownish ear coverts as well as a general cool browish expression indicates SS. Juvenile with the bright feather edges on shoulder and coverts and a uniform pattern. First record for Ags. |
