2010-10-01 Puente angosto (El Sabinál -agu), Mexico Adult male, unmistakable. Prefers riparian water bodies with quiet water and overhanging trees. I've seen it in Ags at the end of May, but normally it is only a winter visitor this far south in Mexico. Had to use the burka-hide to get close enough. Here in Mexico it is my, limited, experience that the species is rather shy, and difficult to approach. |
