Adult. Probably male because of the bright colors. Moving unaffectedly around on the ruin ground in small groups, and also along the closest part of the access road. Ocellated = ocelli = eye spots (blue) on upper tail coverts and tail.
Likely a male because of the strong colors. Appeared less lively than the birds in Calakmul, and only saw 8 as highest number. And always close to the Gran Plaza. This bird is however a bit different with the funny knob dangling from the neck. Haven't been able to find anything like it, photos nor description.
Male. Some 3-4 birds were hanging out on top of a ruin which I of course had to take advantage of. They stayed up there quite a while, but eventually decided to fly down one by one.
