Female. Eventhough it generally has a plumage like many other female hummingbirds, it always appears significant, even without seeing the details as good as here. It is bigger and with long broad wings it gives the impression of a heavy rear-party.

Male. Probably young bird since it looks like the throat still shows traced of the juvenile plumage. One of the most common hummingbirds in the area during my stay.
