Adult. Unmistakable in Denmark with the cream-colored plumage. Notice much white on the outer part of the tail. Semi-common species mostly close to human surroundings.

This dove is thriving in human surroundings what must be the reason to its fast successful expansion south through the American continent.
Standard individual. The most similar species in the area is White-winged Dove but this shows the white wing border and bluish skin around the eye. The domesticated form of African Collared-Dove (Streptopelia roseogrisea) is also established in a few spots in Mexico, but in general is not yet a concern of confusion. It is normally paler than S. decaocto.

Rather uniform looks presented by this dove despite geographical distances.
A bird in fresh plumage. However, whether it is an adult or young bird is difficult to say, though it might have been expected that a young bird would have shown several worn feathers by this time of year, if it hadn't undergone a complete molt circle yet.
